Every lab is built and run in a real tenant or environment before it is published. Screenshots are genuine captures, redacted where they need to be, and the steps are the ones that actually worked — including the errors hit along the way, which vendor documentation tends to leave out.
Labs depending on licence-only software were removed rather than written around, so the whole 48-lab path can be completed on free tiers and developer tenants.
